Navigation:  Partners > Delegated Admin

The Delegated Admin feature allows you to authorize a TD SYNNEX user to sign into your ION platform account and perform tasks on behalf of your business as an authorized representative. With delegated access, you are granting TD SYNNEX the necessary permissions to carry out various actions within your ION account.

There are different roles that can be assigned to the TD SYNNEX user, and the recommended role for TD SYNNEX user-access is Administrator. This role provides the user with the highest level of access privileges within the ION platform.

Note: The Delegated Admin feature is also referred to as impersonation in other platform documentation.

To learn more about each user role and their specific access privileges, refer to this article: Role Based Access Controls (RBAC)  This article also provides instructions on how to create and manage user access.

You retain control over your account by choosing to enable or not enable the access privileges.  When enabled, the platform tracks (or logs) activities performed by the TD SYNNEX user. A TD SYNNEX users accesses your account from the parent (or provider-level account). They are not logging directly into your ION account.

You can choose not to enable the Delegated Admin feature.

The configuration steps used to enable the Delegated Admin for impersonation are:
