Overview

In the Billing menu, you can view previously generated billing statements, view or create custom Pricebooks by cloud vendor, and view legacy Reports.  


Under the invoice menu options, you can search, sort (in ascending or descending order) any of the columns as well as specify a date range.




Invoices, also known as Billing Statements, are generated monthly after the vendor billing cycle has settled. Some cloud vendors' billing cycles do not correspond to a calendar month. If you have any questions about billing cycles, please open a support ticket.


TD SYNNEX will publish a billing document to you each month, for each cloud vendor product you are transacting through the platform.  Likewise, you can generate billing documents to your customers.


Note: Changes to a pricebook and/or support plan applied to customer profile, after a billing cycle is closed, will not be reflected in the prior-month's dashboard, reports or billing documents.


The format of your billing document may vary.  Within your ION account, you determine the format via the features located here:   Settings > Billing > Invoice Options

Invoices

There are three menu options:  Customer Invoices, Reseller Invoices, and My Invoices.  Each are explained in detail below.

Customer Invoices 

When you create invoices for your customers, they appear in this section, organized by customer name and billing period. It is recommended to create monthly billing statements in the platform because doing so secures pricing for a specific billing period and allows you to download detailed data from the document (vs. a report). If you generate a billing statement before the billing cycle is settled (or fully reconciled), you may notice some variances in billing data.

Reseller Invoices

If you have an end customer that is configured with a full management platform account, invoices generated to partner-level end customers displayed here. Most partners do not use this feature*.


My Invoices 

This section contains your billing statements generated by TD SYNNEX. You do not pay invoices through the platform. The Billing Statements are provided for informational purposes only and are a preview of the invoice you received TD SYNNEX. 


The format of your billing statement may vary.  Typically, your billing document format is by account, by service or product name.


If you have any questions about your actual payable invoice, please contact your Credit representatives or open a support ticket.


Reports

There are two report links in the Billing menu.

  • Reports V2 is a quick link that takes you to the REPORTS menu.
  • Legacy Reports contain an AWS Security and Compliance Report.  Click here for more information.


Pricebooks

This menu option lists all the cloud vendor pricebooks your ION account is authorized for.
