To have better control over the Price override feature we are pleased to announce the addition of four new columns, Price Change, Price Change Value, Override Effective Date and Override End Date to the billing reports available for both TDSYNNEX and Partners. These columns provide insights into subscriptions that have undergone price overrides.

New Column Details

  1. Price Change: Indicates whether a price override has been applied to the subscription.

  1. Price Change Value: Displays the value of the price override.

  1. Override Effective Date: Specifies the date when the override becomes effective, allowing controlled implementation from a specific point in time.

  1. Override End Date: Indicates the date when the override ceases to apply, ensuring temporary adjustments are automatically reverted after this date.

How to Use the New Columns

  1. Navigate to the Manage Report Columns section.

  1. From the list of available columns, locate Price Change and Price Change Value.

  1. Select the columns and add them to the report view by clicking the Add button.

  1. Click Update Report to apply the changes and display the selected columns.

Viewing the Price Change Data

Once added to the report, the Price Change column will indicate if a subscription has a price override (e.g., "Price overwrite - fixed"), while the Price Change Value column will display the specific override amount, Override Effective Date will give the information when price override starts and the  Override End Date will give the ingo when the price override will finish. This helps you quickly identify and analyze such subscriptions.

Benefits of These Additions

  • Enhanced visibility into price overrides for subscriptions.
  • Simplified identification and analysis of overridden pricing.
  • Improved transparency in billing reports.

Note: only available to vendors with price override option available
