TD SYNNEX’ Microsoft distribution tenants are Indirect Reseller and Direct Reseller enabled, meaning that they can serve products and services to a Customer with a Reseller as a partner of record, or serve products directly to the end Customer. Until this release, StreamOne Ion was only capable of Indirect transactions, and a workaround was required to serve Direct cases. Now, any Customer in StreamOne Ion will be able to transact Microsoft products and services under the Direct or the Indirect model, depending on its setup. Please consult the document attached to learn about this configuration.
Current Direct subscriptions using the old workaround will be migrated to regular Customer profiles by Operations teams in the next few weeks, and no action is required from our Reseller Partners in this regard.
