This article announces the launch of Asynchronous Buy Flow for Microsoft products in a few pilot countries (Austria, US, Canada, Indonesia).
Asynchronous Buy Flow improves the StreamOne Ion experience when purchasing Microsoft MWP and NCE by avoiding most of the live connectivity with the vendor and making the actual ordering activity asynchronous in the background. Ordering steps within the StreamOne® Ion user interface improve from minutes to a few seconds, creating a better perception of platform velocity, addressing some of the continual concerns on platform performance (in this case caused by vendor's API limitations).
