Overview

From a Reseller ION account, you can create customized views using the elements of the Dashboard.

Once you create a custom view, you can subscribe to receive, via email, a static snapshot of the data.


From the customer Storefront, the user creates customizes views using the same features as outlined below.  The subscribe option is not currently available in the customer Storefront.


Create a Custom Dashboard


To create a custom dashboard, follow these general guidelines

  1. Select custom date range
  2. Set your currency preference
  3. Add and design KPI cards
  4. Change order of KPI cards
  5. Save Dashboard


List of Available KPI Cards


Currently, there are five (5) KPI card options.  Click on Add KPI Card to view.



When you pick one, the new card is added to the bottom of the existing dashboard view.

Use the eclipse to view and set customize data for the card. 

The options available are determined by the type of KPI card you select.  This table outlines the variables for customized settings:

Re-Order KPI Cards in Dashboard View

Click on the Reorder Cards to see a list of all KPI cards in the current dashboard view.


Use the tripe-bar icon to click and drag the cards to the order of preference.



Setup a Subscription

Subscriptions are email communications providing a snapshot image of the custom dashboard view.


Click the Subscribe option to view, modify, and create new dashboard subscription views.


 

(1) Existing custom dashboard subscriptions display first

(2) Click Add View to create a new dashboard subscription

(3) Click the arrow to expand the view; you see user subscribed and the period setting


Add a new Subscription


  1. Enter a name for the Subscription that describes the dashboard view
  2. Select a user from the drop-down list*
  3. Select the recurrence frequency; there are three options: daily, weekly, and monthly
  4. Repeat steps 1 & 2 for all recipients
  5. Click Save


*Note:  The list of users available from the drop down list are based on the platform account users (Settings > Account> Users.  You can not add users from the dashboard subscription feature.


Subscriptions are delivered via email.  Typically at the time of day in which you created the subscription.  Example:  If I created a subscription at 1:30 PM, I would receive my subscription communication around 1:30 PM according to the frequency selected.
