Overview
The StreamOne Ion Billing Reports are a source of information about the charges and costs associated with cloud products and services. A billing report's purpose is to provide visibility and transparency into the costs of a product or service so that our partners understand how much and for what they are being charged. Billing reports can help you track and manage costs, identify trends and patterns in usage, and optimize how you use a product or service to minimize cost. Users can view and download billing reports, as well as generate custom reports and billing statements.
Depending on the cloud vendor, the StreamOne Ion Billing Reports will include columns for seller cost, customer cost, margin, quantity, seat count, and more. Additionally, because the reseller discount has already been configured for you, the Seller Cost represents your cost as a reseller. MSRP or "street pricing," is represented by the customer cost. So, unless you want to create custom pricebooks to uplift or discount MSRP in the Customer Cost column, you don't need to change the pricing.
The Reports module includes three primary categories:
- Billing: see customer accounts with cost and usage
- Customer: download end-user acceptance terms and other customer activity
- Partner: (not applicable for most resellers)

Customer Reports
When you double-click a system report (not custom), the report automatically defaults to the current month and a default set of columns. You can modify the content and layout of a report using the [Options] drop-down feature. This provides the flexibility for layout and grouping of report data for customization.
