Understanding APN Program Fees and Credits in TD SYNNEX StreamOne Ion

This guide explains how the AWS Partner Network (APN) Program fees and promotional credits are handled within the TD SYNNEX StreamOne Ion platform.


APN Program Fees

  • What is the APN Program Fee? AWS Partners who reach the "confirmed" stage in their AWS Partner Path are required to pay an annual APN Program fee.
  • Billing: The annual fee is charged to the AWS account you registered when joining the AWS Partner Program. If your AWS account is part of a TD SYNNEX AWS organization, TD SYNNEX will pay the invoice to AWS on your behalf, and the APN charges will be included with your other AWS consumption charges on your TD SYNNEX invoice.
  • International Fees: Partners outside of the United States may incur additional costs based on their country's value-added tax (VAT).

Promotional Credits

  • What are Promotional Credits? Once the APN Program fee is processed, AWS provides a promotional credit to offset the cost of the fee. The Alliance Lead of your APN account will receive an email with the promotional credit code and redemption instructions.
  • How are Credits Processed? TD SYNNEX prioritizes the payment of all APN fees to ensure timely delivery of the promotional credit.
  • Credit Timeline: While the typical cycle is relatively fast, it's important to note that AWS billing operates in arrears. This means invoices, including those for APN fees, are processed in the month they are received, and resellers are invoiced within the normal AWS billing cycle. As a result, your APN invoice is usually already being processed before you receive the invoice itself, leading to faster promotional credit delivery.
