This article describes how to set up a customized URL to support a white label customer site (portal or marketplace). Requesting a custom URL is one of the steps in customizing a reseller-branded customer portal.
The platform customer portal (also referred to as the Marketplace portal) represents a full range of cloud and technology provider solutions that authorized resellers can display. The customer portal is a standard feature and is part of your platform account. It displays products available from Tech Data based on the vendors you are authorized to transact under.

To request a Custom URL, Subdomain or SSL renewals, please follow the instructions below:
1. Open a support ticket in Freshdesk by clicking the 'Support' option link from the Billing Overview or Support link located under your account name (click on your name to view the link)
2. Complete all the required fields that are noted with a red *
3. Title the Subject line of the ticket with: Request for Custom Storefront URL - [add your company name here]
4. In the comment box, provide your primary domain and the requested subdomain.
Name of requested custom URL or subdomain (example: cloud.disney.com)
Your Primary Domain: Example: www.disney.com
5. The subdomain files should be attached (.crt,. chain, req, and .key files) Here's an example of the files you'll need to upload in the support ticket:
cloud.disney.req (or.cloud.disney.csr)
cloud.disney.crt
cloud.disney.chain
cloud.disney.key
6. In the 'Type', select "Other" from the drop-down list options. Click Send Feedback to submit the ticket. A support ticket will be generated, and a confirmation email is sent to the requester.
7. Create the CNAME Records: Please create the CNAME records in your DNS or Host provider, pointing your custom URL to catalog.ses.techdata.com Example: CNAME cloud.disney.com points to catalog.ses.techdata.com
FYI, please allow up to four weeks to complete the custom URL setup or renewal. When your subdomain is ready, you will be contacted via Support Ticket. If you need more information regarding the required certificates and file types, please read: More Information and Helpful Links, Regarding Custom URL's and Subdomains
You can use an online CSR & Key Generator or Wizard, such as https://decoder.link/csr_generator or https://csrgenerator.com If you are not able to generate a CSR, certificate, and Private Key file for the desired subdomain, please ask your website Host provider to create the files for you. If you were able to create the files, please submit them to your host provider (example: Namecheap or GoDaddy) to create the SSL Certificate files.

*Please note: Self-signed certificates are not accepted. A self-signed certificate is one that has been signed by an individual's private key rather than a certificate authority that is widely trusted (CA). Self-signed certificates or certificates issued by private CAs are not suitable for use with the public, and because the certificate has not been validated by a third party, visitors to your customer portal will see a browser warning that the certificate should not be trusted; as a result, we cannot accept self-signed certificates.
Important: If your SSL provider requests server details, make sure the certificate type is for Apache/Nginx servers. Please share 35.231.84.10 if an IP address is necessary. The subdomain/custom URLs will be hosted by TD SYNNEX/Tech Data; therefore, inform your SSL provider that hosting services are not required. Also, do not pay for costly SSL or Wildcard SSL certificates. If you have a Wildcard SSL certificate on your primary domain, Engineering will consider accepting it if you supply your Private Key. (This is not advised.) The SSL certificate will be installed on our servers, not your servers or your host provider's servers, by the TD SYNNEX/Tech Data Engineering team.
